First day of school. Landon and Hailey were off to a good start. They were slightly irritated they had to get up at 6:45 am, but after that they were off and running. I got them breakfast, fixed hair, loaded backpacks and looked down at their smiling faces and we were gone. Landon had his own epiphany this morning when he said, "funny how you're excited on the first day, and then it goes away and you're not excited anymore."
Yeah, that's what you think.
I didn't even have time until now to realize how quiet my home is, and Abby hasn't even left yet. She is so excited she can't stand it.
It is starting to set in how lonely this house will be when all of my sweet babies are at school being their very best. Can you believe it will be me and baby for 3 hours each day (Abby is half day kindergarten).
Well, it looks like I better begin the traditional first day of school celebration preparation. Hope all of your first days go well.

I glad you survived. I'm sure I will be singing your song on Monday.
I quit singing when I dropped off Abby. It all hit then and I cried.
